Kabouterland — Attraction in Borger-Odoorn

It is a good idea for kids who will have fun, I just don't understand why the adults also pay full price. It is definitely not a zoo, more a bigger playground for kids. The kabouter displays are nicely made, but quite outdated. The gifts from the shop are just things that can be bought cheaper elsewhere. I gave 3 stars because the kids had fun, but not 44€ worth for a family of 4.

Reply for the owner: I don't expect a discount at the cinema because I can do something. We went to many different places with activities for kids where only children pay, which is normal. At museum kids don't pay as it is made for adults. We paid 50€ at an attraction park where 1 day is not enough to do all attractions. This is why I don't understand the 44€ price at your place. A park is designed with much love. For two children aged 2 and 4 it was just right. Much to discover, extensive options on the playgrounds.

We would have gladly given five stars. Three stars deducted for the tourist rip-off at the cash desk. It is advertised that children ages 0-2 get free admission. We still had to pay full price for the 2 year old child. Reason: "Up to 2 it's free, over 2 it costs." I don't understand that. Then it should read 0-1 years. 0-2 to me means that all children up to 2 years old get free admission. Children 3 and older pay admission. Unfortunately, despite discussion, we were denied free admission and had to pay 11€ admission for the 2 year old child. Please check and change your advertisement on...

We gingen hier naartoe, vrij blanco. Geen idee wat we konden verwachten. Onze kinderen zijn 2, 5 en 6. Eenmaal binnen ga je het konijnenhol binnen. Mooi gemaakt, alsof je in een grot loopt. Rechts en links heb je allemaal inkijkjes in het leven van de kabouters. Erg leuk om te zien, heel gedetailleerd gemaakt. Jongste vond het leuk, de oudsten fantaseerden zo hun verhaal erbij. Buiten via de trollengrot weer naar buiten. Je probeert een route te volgen die nauwelijks te volgen is. Overal inhammetjes, extra rondjes etc. Maar wel leuk! Je ziet dieren, kabouters, kasteeltjes. Als je eenmaal rond bent snap je de indeling van het park. Eten is goed en betaalbaar. We hebben ons hier ruim 3 uur vermaakt. Langer had gekund, door langer te spelen in de speeltuinen.

Verbeterpunten: Een extra drankverkooppunt bij de overdekte speelschuur. Duidelijkere opdrachten mbt tot de magische stenen. Hoeveel zijn er? Nummer ze. Oudste vond ze heel interessant, maar frustrerend dat hij niet wist hoeveel er waren. Personeel wist het ook niet te vertellen. Meer tafeltjes bij het terras. Minder grote tafels, en dan meer.

Leuke ochtend gehad, entreeprijs is vrij hoog voor 3 uur, maar dat zit vast in het priegelwerk en tijd wat het kost mbt de kabouters. Wél een aanrader, maar een tweede keer hoeft...
