We visited with family and had a mostly positive experience. The museum offers a great mix of indoor and outdoor attractions, making it enjoyable for both children and adults. The fossil and skeleton collections are impressive and genuinely educational — even for older kids and grown-ups who enjoy prehistoric science.
That said, there was some confusion at the entrance about how to handle tickets for disabled visitors, which created a slightly awkward start to the visit.
The outdoor park is filled with dinosaur models and interactive areas, but it borders busy roads — during our walk, the smell of car exhaust was noticeable. Adding a green buffer of fast-growing bushes or trees would make the experience more pleasant and healthy.
While the garden and playground sections are fun, they do feel like a mismatched collection of random elements. Many visitors (us included) felt the outdoor area could benefit from more cohesive theming or fresh, thoughtfully curated additions.
With the right creative vision — perhaps under new or refreshed leadership — this museum has all the potential to become truly exceptional. It just needs better structure, clearer planning, and a more modern...
Read moreInside part: A wide variety of samples, specimens and skeletons. Most of the shown materials have well detailed information on source and location. Kids love the stegosaurus and the super large long neck dino (Brachiosaurus). The show place inside seems a bit full but not over crowded yet. The outside part: A mix between playgrounds showcase of large dinosaurs. Additionally there is a very wide variety of trees (Arboretum). The parking is for free, the entrance tariff is acceptable compared to many other attractions in the neighbourhood. Also it is easy to get to from the highway. One must note that in the forest part some Dino’s are identical but placed in a different orientation. But of course it is very hard to make such large molds for Dino’s. And kids don’t see those details :), they will have to dig up the raptors in the sand pit playground. Of course there is a little souvenir shop, with actually not very bad nor badly...
Read moreBeautiful park. Bigger then expected. It has an inside and an outside area. Inside are the fossils, skeletal's, gift shop and horeca. Outside there are playgrounds an replicas of Dinosaurs. The people that work there are very friendly. My Son is 2 and had a great time, I needed to watch him like a hawk so he would not crawl under the rope they had put before every piece. And there is an area that just turns into stairs. So with a pram/ or wheelchair you need to walk back up into the stream of people to get downstairs again. But the outside is great for kids to run around. My son roared at every dinosaur he saw. And had an amazing time. For only 10,00 a person it is a great place to spend the day. If it is sunny of course, most of the park is outside. But...
