Mama Bazooka — Attraction in Bunschoten

Simply put, this was by far the best entertainment experience I ever had, escape room or otherwise.

While the Laboratory is a rather straight forward (but very good) escape room, the Maisjekammer was an unconventional horror experience.

Both these rooms were amazing, the Maisjekammer even better than any other escape room I played so far, but trust me when I say that The Dome managed to surpass them both. Great and original riddles, amazing atmosphere, and a production value out of this world combine to create an experience that surpassed my framework of what to expect of an escape room. It sounds corny, but this is "the next level", and something that will shape my view of entertainment alltogether.

Be warned, though: All three rooms are not for the faint of heart in regards of atmosphere, and the Dome is certainly a challenging room dificulty-wise.

On a sidenote: The location has an amazing lobby, and if possible I recommend spending a whole day there playing all three rooms with...

We played the room “The Dome” with four players. We arrived a bit early and were the first group of the day, so our passcode didn’t work. This wasn’t a big problem, as the game master greeted us in person. She was very warm and welcoming, and she led us to the lounge.

The lounge was spacious and filled with a variety of free games to help pass the time. Snacks and drinks were also available for purchase at fair prices.

The escape room itself was very linear, allowing everyone to solve the puzzles together so that no one was left behind. The riddles could be solved logically and weren’t “guessy,” which we really enjoyed. The atmosphere of the room is hard to describe because there was so much going on at once.

After we completed the room, we were shown a compilation in a separate area so that no other players would be spoiled. We had a great time and would recommend it to any...

We traveled to the Netherlands with the main reason being to play The Dome at Mama Bazooka. We had high expectations & they were greatly met. The Dome is deservingly one of the best - if not the best! - escape rooms in the world! The space & the reception area are great & full of games (ping pong, table soccer, video games etc) that the group can play before or after the game in case they have extra time & a nice bar. The Dome as a game is a high rewarding trippy experience full of surprises, exceptional set design (with lots of though behind it), different puzzles & riddles for every taste. The cherry on top of the cake was meeting the owner Cris who was extremely kind & hospitable in ways I can not even explain here, took great care of us before & after the game.
