De Bolle Buik — Attraction in Dijk en Waard

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We celebrated our American-style wedding barbecue at De Bolle Buik, and it was nothing short of extraordinary. Marvin and his team ran the day with grace, ease, and absolute precision. From our first conversation to the final bite of dessert, every detail was handled with care and professionalism. They were warm, accommodating, and flexible with every request—not just for us, but for our guests of all ages.

The setting was ideal for a celebration like ours: fun for the kids (with zip lines, a paddling pool, mini golf), relaxing for the adults, and beautiful for everyone. The bathrooms were spotless, the grounds well-maintained, and the food was delicious—from start to finish. Chef Mark is a culinary gem, and the entire staff made our special day even more memorable.

We were also blessed with perfect weather, which made the day feel like a gift from start to finish. We had visited other venues prior, including a major hotel, but none matched the heart, hospitality, and cleanliness of De Bolle Buik. It was the right choice in every way.

Went there with our two young kids, both under 5, and the grandparents. Very nice interior and playroom, loved the open kitchen and the atmosphere, that's why they get two stars. However having to wait over an hour for our pancakes is unacceptable, luckily we had ordered our kids pancake with the drinks and got that quicker. Worst thing was that the restaurant was quite empty and two groups of people that arrived and ordered after us were served before. Pancakes were tasty but not for that price and definitely had better ones. Mine was burnt on the bottom but was too hungry to complain. Staff is nice but forgetful and seems to not pay a lot of attention. We did not get to try out the playground outside as the food took so long. Wat een onpersoonlijke, afstandelijke en arrogante medewerkers. Totaal niet klantgericht een proffesionele oplossing zoeken, maar zonder navragen of doorvragen zich strikt aan hun huisregels houden. Ik ben het eens met het feit dat regels regels zijn, maar begrip hebben en oplossingsgericht denken, met in het achterhoofd dat de klant nog altijd koning is, komt blijkbaar niet voor in de belevingswereld van deze medewerkers. Als niet (goed) nederlands sprekende mensen een ontmoeting hebben geregeld met vrienden die uit het land van herkomst hier op vakantie zijn bij familie, en hiervoor wat lekkernijen en drinken hebben meegenomen, worden zij hier zeer arrogant op aangesproken. Nogmaals, regels zijn regels, maar je moet wel redelijk ver zoeken op de website naar dat artikel. Niet goed nederlands sprekende mensen zullen dat begrijpelijk, nog minder vaak doen dan wel goed nederlands sprekenden. Een oplossing had kunnen zijn om, uiteraard bij wijze van uitzondering, op een andere plek op het object het meegebrachte te nuttigen; uit het zicht van andere bezoekers. Een andere oplossing had kunnen zijn om het gezelschap te verzoeken OOK iets (of alleen het drinken) te kopen. We hebben nu maar op een andere plek voor omzet gezorgd, terwijl we in eerste instantie dit bij de Bolle Buik wilden doen. Nu gaan wij in elk geval nooit meer naar de Bolle Buik toe en zullen we het overal waar we kunnen rondbazuinen dat een andere, soortgelijke attractiegelegenheid, beter is dan...
