Mind blowing view @Edam. Country side village..where you can see old bridge, historic cheese factory...local shops, nice people and beautiful tiny houses and great architecture's... It's must visit place to see around..and enjoy the quite narrow path ways.

The origin of Edam cheese, one of the regions with Dam, a hometown of wealthy trader back in the day. A nice, quiet village with a nice scenery and nice type of buildings. No high rise building except for the Church's tower.

Nuestro recorrido por la ciudad lo comenzamos en esta zona. Es la ciudad de donde es originario el queso EDAM. La ciudad es muy tranquila, pequeña, donde la única construcción en altura es la iglesia y el ayuntamiento. Las casas son tradicionales y la gran mayoría cuenta con su típica "Habitación para tomar el té" sobre el río. Los días miércoles de julio y agosto se celebra el tradicional "mercado del queso" que es una recreación turística del tradicional Mercado del queso de la edad media, donde los granjeros llevaban su producción para ser evaluada, pesada, cotizada y subastada.
