Nice little bar in Edam, it ends there. I ordered a ham, cheese, pesto etc sandwich. The young server came back shortly after saying there was no ham. Ok no problem, I’ll have the pulled pork. Sorry no pork. There was another choice with chicken, sorry no chicken. Ok how about the beef carpaccio, sorry no beef. I settled for the ham and cheese with pesto panini. The server said they have no meat left at all. I’m sure she was embarrassed. I got the bill and don’t think there was a discount for the missing ham. I could barely taste any pesto so maybe they were scraping the jar with that too. Sorry, this was a wasted lunch on our only trip to Edam. Whoever runs or owns this place needs to try harder.
