Wij gingen er gisteren zwemmen bij Omnium en vandaag gingen de kindjes spelen op het speelplein en de waterspeeltuin.

Omnium (moesten we reserveren) is ideaal voor 3 uurtjes (11u-14u). Onze kindjes van 8, 5 en bijna 3 jaar hebben genoten van de variatie van Lazy river, stroomversnelling, 2 glijbanen, die toch spectaculairder zijn dan je eerst zou denken 🤭, watervalletjes,... . Ook is er een (afgesloten) apart bad voor de allerkleinsten. Er zijn snacks (oa frietjes met frikandel/nuggets) te verkrijgen aan aanvaardbare prijzen. Proper, verzorgd! Vriendelijk personeel. Niet zo druk.

Op de speeltuin en waterspeeltuin konden de kindjes goed ravotten. Zowel de kleinste als de oudste komen aan hun trekken. Honden zijn niet welkom op het speelplein. Bij de speeltuigen liggen er kleine steentjes, dat vond onze kleinste met sandaaltjes niet zo fijn, de oudste vonden het dan weer leuk om die in 1 van de voorziene bakjes te doen.

De waterspeeltuin: 1 minpuntje : blijkbaar zitten er in het water platwormen. Infectie met deze worm zou bij kinderen kunnen leiden tot vertraging in groei en ontwikkeling van de hersenen. Wij kwamen dit toevallig te weten door een blad dat op de grond lag bij een speeltuig die over het water heen loopt. Onze zoon van 8 kon op het speeltuig klimmen die van 3 en 5 niet, maar er is wel vrije toegang tot het water.

Ze genoten wel van het drijvend vlot en de beweeglijke brug over het water.

In het algemeen zijn er veel leuke speeltuigen, die eens anders zijn dan de standaard.

Mooi aangelegde paadjes, wel toegankelijk voor fietsers, dus soms moet je wel opzij gaan als voetganger. Grootste deel is rookvrije zone! Heel leuk !! Er is een eetgelegenheid, ijsjesbar en ook mogelijkheid tot bv trouwfeesten.
