Assumburg Castle — Attraction in Heemskerk

Beautiful historic castle, which also serves as a hostel, plus a gorgeous spot for weddings & parties. There is also outside the castle a castle garden with beautiful vegetables and herbs (some of which are ‘forgotten’ in terms of they aren’t used as much in today’s kitchens as in years past.
