Er was een surpriseparty voor mij geregeld, ik moest mee op de fiets en kwam uit bij de Cellebroederspoort. Alleen deze historische locatie was al een feest. Er hingen tv schermen waarop persoonlijke boodschappen van familie, vrienden en bekenden / dierbaren voor mij voorbij kwamen. Gaandeweg kwamen de genodigden binnen... allemaal voor mij. De meeste mensen waren erg verrast door de grote ruimte, dit was vanaf de buitenkant niet in te schatten, werd er gezegd. Naast dat ze het leuk vonden om mij te verassen was men onder de indruk van de speciale locatie. Verschillende Kampenaren zelfs die regelmatig onder de poort door gingen, maar er nog nooit binnen waren geweest, zo grappig.
