In het kader van de nabijgelegen radiotelescopen is in dit bos een schaalmodel van ons zonnestelsel opgebouwd. Langs het wandelpad (waarin iedere verzette stap naar verhouding gelijkstaat aan ruim 2 miljoen kilometer) zijn informatieborden geplaatst in 2 categorieën: algemene informatie over ons zonnestelsel en informatie over specifieke planeten binnen ons zonnestelsel. Deze laatste borden bevatten ook een model van de bewuste planeet op schaal en staan dus ook op de juiste afstand van de zon in dit schaalmodel. Ook voor kinderen bijzonder interessant, mijn dochters van 3 en 5 hebben zich prima vermaakt en werden van ieder volgend bord...
