We had a great time in Nieuwvliet. We enjoyed the beach resort, event hough it wasn't finished yet, in other words, they were still building villa's and the central building was not finished, therefore no info on these things. The resort is built up with different villas and beach cabins. The beach cabins look adorable and seem like there is a beach feeling, however they look small.||We stayed in a luxury 4 person villa. Event hough it is very nice to stay in your own house, we had little privacy. We stayed in villa 107, where there was not a lot land around our house. We had a lovely table outside, so it was great to sit and eat outside, however, we could see all our neighbour's front door. I did do some research and not all luxury 4 person villas have the same amount of land. For example 127 en 131 have a lot more space and privacy around there house and one of those even had a lounger. Unfortunately we did not. ||The downstairs is nice with a kitchen, a dining table and a couch with two chairs to lounge in and watch tv. and a toilet downstairs. There is also a little area next to the kitchen with a washing machine and drier.||Upstairs though, was a bit strange. There were two bedrooms, one small one with two single beds and a small closet, and one large bedroom with two single beds setup as a queen bed with a larger closet. the beds were great and we slept very well on them. There was a bathroom with a toilet, a sink, a shower and an infrared sauna. But here is the strange thing, the main bedroom also had an extra bathroom with a sink and a shower. I could not wrap my head around why they had chosen this layout, because I would much rather have a larger room or more closet space, a bath or something else than two showers.||The house was clean on arrival and the service was not grand. We had some issues with the tv, the little safe, the wifi and the washing machine and had to go back almost daily to get it fixed. As well, if you order bikes ahead of time with child seats on them, it would have been nice to have them prepared, instead of having to wait 20 minutes for them to figure out how the children's bike seats need to be placed on the bike.||The resort is close to the beach, about a 10 minute walk to a more secluded beach without a beach restaurant, however there is no lifeguards present and there is a part where there is a part of it that has signs saying beware of quicksand. However, if you walk for 5 minutes further there is a beach restaurant, with a lifeguard station, which is nice if you want to have a drink, use the toilet, rent a lounger or something else. ||I would advise renting bikes to be able to view more of the area and to go to different beaches. Everything is very accessible by bike.||So all in all, this is a review of a place that is not finished yet. I do not know how it will be when it is completly done and if the privacy issue will change. I liked the villa's, the resort is close to the beach, however we did not find a lot of privacy, the upstairs layout of our villa was strange and we thought the service could...

Not that family, customer friendly. ~ Lodge 321 is not safe for little babies in summertime! Why, because it's way to hot inside, you can't relax at your own paid house, we had 32° inside, and outside was just 25°. The building is so bad constructet, the sun is shining from morning to sunset directly into the glasses. Furthermore in the living room and kitchen you just can open 1 window, no chance to cool the room down, even with a mobile air condition, that was to weak. 1 employee said, we can change the house for more money, no problem, I would have paid it. Next day, other employees said, it's not possible even if multiple houses was free. Than 1 wanted to give us more Parasols, easiest way to fix that massive problem. Next day, same like the change houses, it's just 1 Parasols allowed. In all, the service desk employees were really bad. At the end I had to negotiate and got vouchers of 75€ for 3 days unacceptable heat in our lodge. ~ the swimming pool is to small for all that people ~ the sea isn't quite near, the beach okay, but sea at least 20min. from that flat 321. ~ employees at the service desk, reception laughing at customers and didn't take them serious!
Good:
~Indoor Playground ~swimming pool (if it isn't full of people) ~snack bar ~kids program ~Cocktails ~friendly service in the Restaurant and at the Bar ~ the sea, if you arrive...
