Absolutely loved my time at Het Puntje! This beach bar is a true hidden gem tucked away at the quiet end of Scheveningen, and itâs the perfect escape from the busy boulevard. The atmosphere is incredibly relaxed and welcomingâyou really feel like youâve discovered a secret spot only the locals know about. Sitting on the terrace with my feet in the sand, enjoying the beautiful views of the dunes and the North Sea, was honestly one of the highlights of my trip. What really sets Het Puntje apart is the focus on fresh, healthy, and sustainable food. The menu is full of creative vegetarian and vegan options, and the local fish dishes are always prepared with care. I tried their vegan bitterballen and a delicious homemade cake, both of which were outstanding. The fresh juices and coffee were also excellent, and it was clear that a lot of love goes into everything they serve. Itâs great to see a place that puts so much emphasis on quality and sustainability. The staff were super friendly and helpful, happy to explain the menu and make recommendations. Even though the menu is only in Dutch, they made sure I felt right at home and helped me find the perfect meal for my dietary needs. The whole vibe is very laid-back and cozy, making it a great place to relax whether youâre alone, with friends, or with family. I also noticed that the place is dog-friendly and has toys for kids, which is a nice bonus if youâre visiting with little ones. Getting to Het Puntje is part of the adventureâitâs only accessible by foot or bike, which keeps the crowds away and adds to the peaceful feeling. The walk through the dunes is beautiful and really sets the mood for a relaxing day by the sea. Just be aware that itâs located on the nudist beach, so you might see a little more than you expect in the summer! All in all, Het Puntje is a fantastic spot for anyone looking to enjoy great food, friendly service, and a tranquil beach setting away from the hustle and bustle. I canât recommend it enough and will definitely be coming back next time Iâm...
Read moreWe have been patrons of Het Puntje since its inception, always fabulously tasty vegetarian foods, delicious cakes and coffee. Truly an oasis. I feel quite saddened that this year we find the quality of the daily main course options have to date been poorly seasoned, lacking in taste and of disappointing presentation. Yesterday we were again at Het Puntje, ordered the cauliflower âsteaksâ and were presented with half grilled cauliflower florets and dry, flavourless limabonen puree and uninteresting antiboise - no cherry tomatoes to be seen! Come on Het Puntje, where has your kitchen style gone? We were always singing...
Read moreWhen we arrived, there there was a queue at the bar in which people clearly did not take 1.5 meters distance. There was no instruction whatsoever concerning Corona measures, it was unclear if we could just sit down at a table, or get a drink to take-away. No staff at the entrance to guide one. We simply left because we did not know what to do, and did not want to risk our health in line just to...
