Colorado Charlie — Attraction in The Hague

For 2 months I have been waiting for my favourite DJ to play in Holland. Me and my friends were super excited to see Mees Salomé play live finally at beach in Holland. However, when we arrived there and we were rejected by the security only because we had our sunscreen with us. They were super aggressive, abusive(we saw even that they used physical violence to kick out people without no reason) and made purely use of their authority to decide that we were no longer welcomed even though we had our tickets. The women security in specific made clear that 'she was the boss' 'she was the boss' without giving us a room for explanation. It was 25 degrees with full sun and we were not allowed to protect ourselves from the sun. While we tried to enter there were at least 10 other people who were rejected for the same reason. Shame on the organisation which did not allow people who had bought their tickets but were not allowed to enjoy the event they had been looking forward to for months. I have never seen such an insecure act.The attitude that we have been handled with was rather being thrown out like dogs. This is not humane and definitely doesn't feel right. This is vivid and heartbreaking example of misuse of 'authority'. I hope their behaviour will not...

I have been to clubs and bars all over Europe and I have never experienced anything worse. The security is extremely rude and aggressive. They thoroughly searched me (thats ok), but including checking each and every pocket of my wallet and going through all of my money?? When I just tried to ask why, they started aggressively swearing, calling me names, saying that I should go back to my home country and threatening me that they will kick me out if I don't like their behavior. Everybody here is complaining about the behavior of your security and staff, why don't you do something about it??

On top of an already expensive ticket of 30 EUR, the drinks are (of course) extremely overpriced and you can not buy only one or two because they accept only tokens. And after all of this they will charge 3 EUR to go to the bathroom. They know that you will pay for it eventually, because you already paid for an expensive event that you want to enjoy and you can not go out once you are in. What a scam!!

Such a pitty because the music was great, but the staff ruined it. If your favorite artist plays here, save yourself the money and stress and go see them...

A place with the potential to be world class but fails at the most important attribute - hospitality. Very tight security (not a bad thing) but some things don’t make sense. No chewing gum. No wearing hats (it’s an outdoor venue, no sun protection) aggressive behavior from security inside. Starts the day off on a very bad foot . The party was excellent but expensive toilets and lockers. No option to even get tap water (a basic human right ) . Water poured in a small cup for more than a beer. Not even a bottle of water. Bathroom cash only unless you use a token . 3 euro cash or 3,75 for a token . Just insane . All chewing gum and like items confiscated by security and then the security go and start eating it themselves . VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! I’d come back for the DJ , but wouldn’t support the venue if I didn’t need to .

Learn about hospitality and treating people fairly and try again . Great night...
