Uitkijktoren De Nieuwe Herdgang in Landschapspark Moerenburg-Koningshoeven is open voor publiek. Is bereikbaar via de Eindhovenseweg, net voorbij de tunnel onder de A58. De toegang is NIET gratis. Je betaald per persoon € 1,50. Dit kan via pin betaald worden.

De toren is toegankelijk middels een draaihek. Er geldt een maximum van 30 personen op de toren.

Openingstijden De uitkijktoren is in de winter open tussen 08:00 en 17:00 uur. In de zomer kunnen bezoekers de toren beklimmen tussen 08:00...

De Nieuwe Herdgang is een vrij hoge uitkijktoren. Eigenlijk vind ik alleen het ontwerp mooi. De omgeving is niet bepaald fraai, dus het uitzicht evenmin. Daarbij staat de toren tussen snelwegen dus het is erg luidruchtig. Om er te komen mag je een stukje modderploeteren. De entree is €1,50. Vind het nogal opmerkelijk dat alleen in en rondom Tilburg entreegeld betaald moet worden om een uitkijktoren te bezoeken. De Flaestoren en Kempentoren zijn ook niet gratis. Beetje jammer..
