This is Mecca for anyone interested in the soils of the world and their geographic distribution, properties, use, and importance to civilization and the natural world. Of the 1000 or so soil monoliths in ISRIC's collection about 100 are displayed at any one time, forming a spectacular panorama of colours and textures. All the stored monoliths can be found in the virtual museum online.
