The Stadskasteel Zaltbommel, also known as the Maarten van Rossum Museum, is a beautifully restored city castle that combines the elegance of Dutch castle architecture with thoughtful museum curation. The rooms inside are well preserved, with period furniture, paintings, and exhibits that give vivid insights into the history of the region, maarten van Rossum’s legacy, and how the town grew over centuries. Walking through the museum is both educational and atmospheric: high wooden ceilings, old stone walls, decorative details in the plasterwork and woodcarving. The guides or signage (depending on what you prefer) explain the historic context clearly without overwhelming you. Five stars for maintaining heritage, for offering depth and atmosphere, and for being a place that both locals and visitors...

Hartelijk bedankt Ms. Reijerse and please keep your enthusiasm and the great way to protect...
