Love Corsair Bay! It’s a serene slice of paradise with views that’ll make your heart sing. Plenty of parking for your chariots, plus toilets and changing rooms to freshen up after all the fun! When the tide is high, the ‘beach’ shrinks a bit, but fear not—there's grassy territory just above waiting to be claimed. And when the tide dips, get ready for a rock pool treasure hunt! Dive into adventure on the floating platform, just a splash away from shore. Pack your beach chairs, picnic goodies, drinks, towels, and your favorite tunes, and get ready to soak in the sun for half a day or more! Just a heads up: no permanent food stands here, but if fortune smiles upon you, an ice cream truck might roll in like a sweet surprise. This gem is perfect for families! Just a quick 40-meter trek from the carpark to the beach—choose your own adventure with stairs or a path. Highly recommend this sunny...

My Favourite beach so far near Cristchurch. Don't go. Otherwise you'll like it too much and it will get too full. The beach is sharp so wear thongs. At low tide the bottom feels like a slimey super fine clay. Excellent for photos though I don't have any right now. Ironic eh? Coffee and icecream truck in the carpark is convenient and awesome. There is a new tradition of leaving 50 cents at the Icecream van for the free Icecream for Roger fund. No sand flies which was a pleasant surprise. No unicorns either but I kind of...

If you are looking for a sheltered place to swim and enjoy the sun, then this is the place for you. A great place for the family with safe swimming and a pontoon in the water you can swim out to and jump off. The water is calm and clear, no wave's and sheltered from the wind which is a big plus. There's no houses or shop's, however there's parking and as you walk down the path to the beach, there are toilets and changing rooms. There was a van in the carpark selling real fruit Ice cream which were delicious and great...

Wonderful place to just relax and enjoy the beach. There are picnic tables and benches all around the area and there is a public toilet and changing room (not maintained quite as well as other public toilets are though). Other than that, it's a good spot if you're looking to take some photos, grab a bite and drink, or just enjoy the beach. Would recommend to come in on non-peak hours to really appreciate the place.
