Barnett Park, which includes the entire walkway, is a long, narrow strip of land in the suburb of Redcliffs, off to the right as you drive around the estuary toward Sumner, From the car park, walk south along the east side of the playing fields to a stile leading to a farmed part of the valley floor. Continue past the end of Bay View Road on the left and one of a series of electrical pylons that cross the valley. The track climbs onto the hillside on a dirt track through grasses, gorse and broom. Read moreThe Park is quite nice, just a standard Sports field with a play ground at the front. There is a small dog exercise area to. The main event is the walk up the valley to some caves at the back. The trail is over grown and not will maintained. The EastEnders tail which is part of the loop trail but then seperates and goes up the hill is nice and maintained, but not as interesting as the loop trail. Once at the caves stairs have been added as it's quite steep. However these have been damaged by Rock fall and not fixed so pretty dodgy, it's a pity this should be a really...
