This is one of my favourite walks in Christchurch. Great for children if they want to bike. Dogs allowed. If you want an extra long walk. We park our car in Brigde Street .There are new tables and seating in place,so you can have a coffee or picnic. Stay on the track , South Brighton Park isn't too far, you will see it to your left.This is your only toilet stop. Continue on the track, take in the lovely view across the Estuary towards Mt Pleasant,Redcliffs and Sunmer. We turn down Estuary Road.. ,stopping for a lovely coffee at Dune Cafe. There's a small gravel carpark at the start of the walk off Ebbtide St where it becomes Estuary Road.
