Bayswater Marina — Attraction in Devonport-Takapuna

A fine marina with friendly staff and good security. All it needs is a solid breakwater and it'll be the best marina in Auckland overall. The toilet facilities are good and clean. The best place to liveaboard in Auckland with ferry and bus services to your swim platform. The staff are exceptional and any Marina issues are quickly taken care of. Extremely overpriced campground, 190 for 2 people x 2 nights is obscene, and they’ll still charge you for the shower. No facilities, Drunk obnoxious people just outside the campground yelling and singing at night..

the only reason to stay here is because you’re next to the ferry going downtown.

We arrived after check in (seemed fine to do so based on the website) and therefore received none of the instructions/amenities. We were told to park on the grass which was too wet to drive on, so we found ourselves stuck in the mud and were towed out the following morning.
