Revolting. We paid of an executive suite and found our room was all lowered as it was the room for disabled customers. Went to reception to try get another room and finally were moved to the room next door. The shower was revolting and had mould building that had clearly been there for a very long time and the rest of the bathroom floor was covered in hair from past customers. Called reception to ask them to clean the bathroom, especially the shower floor. They said yes and when we returned, all they had done was given us more toilet paper. We had to go out and buy cleaning products and scrub the bathroom floor late at night ourselves because we could not stand it, and had already been through the trouble of trying to get this second room so we’re not in the mood to try get a third. Very little in the way of appliances in the kitchen, no cleaning products either. Washing machine was broken and did not work. The whole hotel had an awful stench too. Our bedding was just thin sheets stacked on top of each other and they had blood stains all over them and other marks which honestly we didn’t even want to imagine what they were from. This hotel shouldn’t be doing bookings if they can not clean their rooms. Extremely disappointed. We had to stay here for a week, if we could have gotten a refund we would have been out of there straight after we arrived. I can’t believe we paid the money we did to end up having to clean the hotel bathroom. Would...
Read moreThis is one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in - it has everything you need for a very relaxed stay (and odd things we asked for like extra coathangers were provided within seconds). The apartment is huge, the bed is huge and very comfortable, there is everything you need in the kitchen area with beautifully clean, quality kitchenware, there's a dishwasher and washing machine (with powders) and iron, the sofa is comfortable, the TV has Sky channels, there are great views from the balcony, the air con is super efficient, the staff on reception are really friendly and welcoming, the apartment is serviced daily with fresh towels and restocking of teas, coffees, toilet rolls etc ... there is absolutely nothing not to like - the location might seem a little isolated but the ferry terminal is a 10 minute walk away and gets you to the City very quickly and the no 8O1 bus is 3 mins walk from the door - and enabled frequent visits to Devonport to eat - and full exploration of all the North Shore beaches. We absolutely loved our week's stay here and would come back again without question! Thank you team...
