Such a shame that there whole focus is now on selling icecreams ... went mid morning on a Sunday and there was no packaged fruit available ... only option was to PYO which is still $20 per kilo plus $6 entry - $26 a kilo for PYO is way to high. Fruit hasn't lasted well either. Was only one staff member in the shop who was trying to make icecreams, weigh fruit of those who had been picking and charge those wanting to go picking - we waited probably 10+ mins to pay to pick and the same after picking so our 2 minute stop to buy strawberries turned into a 45 minutes very hot adventure. Read moreThe strawberries are lovely, as usual, but not the greatest place for a picking experience.
The line for entrance is the same line to order food and weigh picked strawberries, so it takes 30 mins-1 hour to enter the fields, which is too long for families with kids out in the sun. It doesn’t seem like they’re prepared for that many people.
We ended up driving to the other location to buy pre-packaged instead as the line was taking too long, which is a shame as we’d been looking...

My daughters ice cream was not even handed to her neither was she told it was hers until we asked!…..sorry but next time we are going back to the west….where it is a fun...
