This is a popular destination to lots Aucklanders. So be mindful that it could be quite crowded. The three-hours circuit bush walk is quite easy, very friendly to people who are moderately mobile. Not much view while walking in the bush. There are few peaking sites to have some glances at the water reservoir and rural eastern suburbs.
