"Eastern Beach in Howick, Auckland, New Zealand is a true coastal paradise. I recently had the pleasure of spending time at this stunning beach, and I was utterly captivated by its beauty. The golden sands and crystal-clear waters create a postcard-perfect setting for relaxation and recreation.
The beach offers a wide range of activities, from swimming and sunbathing to picnicking and beach games. The calm, gentle waves make it a fantastic spot for families to enjoy a safe and fun day by the sea. Additionally, the well-maintained facilities, including clean restrooms and convenient parking, enhance the overall experience.
The picturesque boardwalk that runs along the length of the beach is perfect for leisurely strolls, jogging, or simply taking in the gorgeous coastal views. The surrounding reserve area with its lush greenery provides a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Furthermore, the nearby cafes and restaurants offer delicious dining options, making it convenient to grab a bite to eat before or after a day at the beach.
Eastern Beach truly embodies the beauty of the Auckland coastline and offers a rejuvenating escape for locals and visitors alike. I highly recommend this beach to anyone looking for a day of sun, sand, and sea. It's a perfect destination for creating unforgettable memories and basking in the natural splendor of New...
Read moreI believe it's by far one of the best beaches in Auckland where I've had great summer beach trips as it's also a new location where I go in summer for swimming and good quality beach time, as for the past few years I often went to Kawakawa Bay and also Maraetai and Takapuna, and I used to go to Eastern Beach with my church for a late January summer church family beach day, and I used to also go to Maraetai with my church for a late January summer church family beach day, and I can get to Eastern Beach perfectly well just like I can get to Maraetai perfectly well, and this also my first summer ever having a day at Eastern Beach on my own and I would rate it to be a great picturesque location with a view into the Hauraki Gulf over looking Rangitoto Island, Motoihe Island and Waiheke Island, and it's also one of the best New places I have...
Read moreThis place is a beautiful and serene spot, perfect for taking a leisurely walk and unwinding. The pathways are well-maintained and offer stunning views, making it an ideal destination to simply stroll and clear your mind. There are also some shops nearby, mostly food places, along with a cute dairy. It's a fantastic location for a peaceful afternoon. It's also very close to the Willow Park Christian Campground. However, if you're looking for a great swimming spot, this might not be the best choice. The water remains quite shallow even far from the shore, which isn't ideal for a proper swim.
Getting here isn't that easy either. The 712 and 713 buses service the area, with one going to Panmure and one to Botany. They are every half hour most of the time, which is frequent enough if you plan ahead but definitely isn't a...
