Farm Cove Reserve — Attraction in Howick

Great fun for the kids (and the adults too!). Nicely laid out game, fun without being too difficult for the little ones. It could do with a little bit of a refresh; some of the stepping stones were obscured by grass and shrubs, and some of the stones' numbers were very difficult to see. But once you worked out how things were laid out, it was fun. A suggestion: if you've got a smart phone, load a random number generator so you can "roll the dice" while you're moving around the layout. Otherwise, someone has to stand at one of the two fixed dice on the course and call out the numbers to the other...

This is the best place to come down and relax with your family. You could have a swim or go on the exercise machines. There is public toilets attached to the sailing club and there's walk ways in both direction to do the rotary walk. There's a public barbecue and a snakes and ladders park. Usually parking and heaps of space to kick the ball around. Love love love this place! Been coming here for...
