Bagshot Row — Attraction in North Island

I feel so fortunate that my tour group had the chance to visit this enchanting place on such a beautiful sunny day. It was a bittersweet moment to learn that it was the last day when every tourist would receive a complimentary souvenir, making it all the more special.

The journey to the set was a pleasant 10-minute bus ride, and I appreciated how well-organized everything was. Our guide was not only informative but also had a wonderful sense of humor that kept our spirits high. If you’re a fan of "Lord of the Rings" or hobbits, this is truly a must-visit destination.

Take some time when you visit Hobbiton to walk through Bagshot Row to see all of the Hobbit Houses cut into the hillsides. Highlights are Bilbo and Frodo’s house, and Sam Gamgee’s house. The groups of people could do with being smaller as if you were at the back you couldn’t hear your guide.
