Champagne pool is the main attraction of the Wai-o-Tapu thermal wonderland. The hot pool with the fumes rising from it, and the pool itself in myriad hues of orange, yellow, blues is a sight to behold. Lots of fumes when we visited the place, with winds blowing them to one side clouding the visibility on occassions. There is a walk around the pool and one stretch is through one side of the pool....
