Fergusson Park — Attraction in North Island

Always a relaxing and revitalizing experience walking at Fergi park which I call it! It's a big green space for games, an area for young children, it's right next to the water which is tidal and has amazing views of the Kaimai Ranges, which are high bush-covered mountains. The park also has a tree lined walk next to the water and a higher level which gives beautiful views over the park, over the water to Matakana island and the Kaimais. Fantastic Spot. Pass by ever day on my way to work. The large lush field allows for a variety of sports to be played with your mates. If you're more adventurous you can always give kite surfing ago. The large flats make an ideal spot for kite surfing and wind surfing, don't need you're own gear as there is usually a bus where you can rent what you need.
