Matua cafe & eatery /breakfast/Lunch/Dinner — Restaurant in North Island

If I could give half a star I would, Don’t bother!

Coffee wasn’t to bad, but I ordered a big breakfast which took 40-45 minutes and I was the only one with my daughter ordering hot food, I don’t know how they stuffed it up with only two hot meals being ordered in the whole cafe but hay! They did. and after the long wait it wasn’t anything special for a whopping 24 dollars! Nope - never again oh and to add, no music playing!!! Seriously cold...

Have eaten here many times since it opened but not been here for several months. Myself and another customer waited over 10 mins for our orders to be taken while the 2 staff behind the counter stood there waiting to take food to customers already seated. When my pie came out it was soggy from being reheated in microwave. I had to go to the counter for sugar for Mum's coffee as there was nine on table or brought with coffee. Will not...

This cafe has become our favorite local cafe. The environment is warm and inviting, the staff are really welcoming and they have amazing food and consistently delicious coffee. We head there a few days a week on our morning rides for a coffee. They have an amazing selection of cabinet foods that a yummy to eat in or grab to grab on the go if you are in a rush.
