Horahora Domain is a very pretty spot for a stopover night. We arrived late in the evening but there were still quite a few spots left. The toilets are fine, but there aren't any lights so I had to use my cellphone. The grounds keeper is very friendly and talkative. All in all a great spot that is totally free!

Lovely spot to stay the night with your camper van. Even though we arrived late and it was dark, we were easily able to find everything. The sanitary is clean enough, and the views are so nice. The stars at night are amazing and the view in the morning is immaculate. Would recommend spending the night here!

When weather is not ideal, this is how it looks like .... Great place for overnight stopover, away from the main road, quite with beautiful water view.

Madly popular place during the main holidays for people who like to be at the edge of a lake and persue water sports. Mature trees for shade and an ablution block make this basic camping experience a typical Kiwi holiday spot. Close to but away from the main traffic route, nights are silent and the kids are safe as long as you take standard precautions...
