100% MUST VISIT!!! Truly Magical, Stunning, Amazing, and times Out of this world!! Pick the right time of day, and this reserve truly is magical! If your stopping here for any reason, you have to get out of the car and walk around.. there is soo much more to Keeley's Reserve than the boat ramp, ski ramp, and camping areas! The blue skies and sunshine of summer combine with Lake Karapiro to not only deliver stunning photo opportunities, but a place that can feel tranquil, peaceful, calming, and...yes.. truly MAGICAL! Plan your visit for a summers morning (believe me when I say sunrise is THE time) for the true, magical, and mystifying experience. The mist on the lake, with rowing teams practicing, and hearing their oars in the water and voices from the distance. 100% - MUST SEE!! check out the photos.. and when travelling the Waikato.. plan to go to...

The Toilets had not been serviced in a while. I left some supplies in the toilets. But then somebody immediately took it all. Like Moana Roa some rubbish bins and service would...

However, the reserve is close to the highway, so traffic noise can be noticeable, and the ground may become muddy after rain. With a two-night stay limit, it’s a convenient and scenic stop for travelers looking to enjoy nature...
