Beautifully designed steps. We went down the steps then Took a break and enjoyed looking at the manawatu river. Then went back up the steps with our 3 year old daughter, we had to take breaks as it was tiring for her (and us). My 14 year old just raced up no problem there. The view is really nice and you can enjoy looking at the river if it’s not raining. The parking at the top is a bit funny. We weren’t sure if we were at the right place at the start, until we saw the steps. Trust the Maps directions it will take you to the right place is you enter “Lindos steps”. Will...

If you want some serious exercise without having to pay a cent these steps can provide. There are two sets of steps. One has 180 steps and the other 220 steps. It's a good challenge to go up without stopping. The view is great from the top. On a clear day one an see Mount Ruapehu. Also a good view of Palmerston North and the river. Easy uphill access by Cliff Road and there is parking at the top if you just want to see the view....

Stunning spot to unwind and enjoy a beer! I couldn't help but feel envious of those lucky enough to call this beautiful place home. If you've got some time to spare like I did, I highly recommend stopping by! Plus, there's a short hike nearby for outdoor enthusiasts. Have fun and soak up...

Great views on a perfect day. Best step climb exercise anywhere near Palmy but very slippery wood step boxing when wet and descending down the steps so tread carefully. Really good cardio exercise! Very short walk and dogs not recommended as mostly steep steps.
