I cannot recommend this highly enough. Amazing tour of the farm with Bronn (I apologise if the spelling is incorrect). She was fantastic! Absolutely full of facts and interesting tidbits. It was so much fun seeing her interact with the different alpacas and llamas. She knew each one by name and could share a little about the characteristics and personalities of each animal. We were even introduced to the lambs and sheep wandering around the farm. We fed them all by hand and got to know each one fairly personally. It really was a fantastic day.

Make sure you visit the shop. Unfortunately, I didn't catch the name of the lady that was working there, but she was lovely, friendly and helpful too! All alpaca fibre apparel there were soft, comfortable and very well priced. I bought a scarf for under $100. In several other stalls we found selling alpaca goods, a scarf would cost well over $200. Thoroughly impressed with the range, quality and fastastic pricing of the goods.

Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone. It was the linchpin of a really...

Had an absolute blast at Gem Alpaca Stud! 🦙 Fed these cutie alpacas, and they've got over 20 of them, each in a different shade – a colorful crew! The guide (Cath?) and owner (The Boss) were super chill and friendly, making the whole experience a great bit of morning fun.

Major props for hooking us up with gumboots. Seriously, who thinks of that? It was so good to be able to feed and hang out with the alpacas (and that one llama) worrying about mucky shoes.

Our guide was a ball of energy, dropping alpaca knowledge like it was confetti. Learned so much while having a laugh – the best combo! And feeding the alpacas? Highlight of the day! They chowed down on pellets right from our hands, and the joy on their fuzzy faces was priceless.

If you're into fuzzy, friendly alpacas and good times, this is the spot. Five stars for the alpaca party! 🌟🦙🎉

P.S. We also definitely went and got the salmon and bacon pie and a jam donut from the Bakehouse right afterwards. Thanks for the...

The staff here are incredibly rude. Parked in a spot with NO SIGNAGE, as the car park (clearly marked) was full & didn’t think it was appropriate to park in the camper van parking (also clearly marked) given we weren’t in a camper van. We walked into the building in time to overhear a staff member saying ‘unbelievable... one staff car park & somebody has just parked there’, followed by a lady at the desk saying ‘yeah, you wouldn’t normally park there’. My husband immediately explained & said he’d move the car but received no response. We never would have parked there had we known it was for staff only, and we certainly wouldn’t have minded moving our car if the staff had just come and spoken to us like mature adults. A really unimpressive way to be welcomed, hence our...

Jill the owner is very friendly and knowledgeable about every single Alpaca & sheep they own. Peter the sheep and Sophie the Alpaca are my favorite. Very sad to hear this wonderful business is shutting down in March after 20 years due to Covid pandemic. Highly recommended for family with children as this is as close as you can get to be right next to Alpacas. The tour is worth every cents. Our children are so enjoy and can't stop talking about it in the car after the tour. Everything in the gift shop is on sale so make sure you swing by join the tour and grab you self a deal. * The business is still open and running! *

What a beautiful farm. Jill was a wonderful guide for just the two of us. The farm helped to make adjustments to my booking twice and were ever so kind about it. We met the llamas, alpacas and sheep, and you can tell how well loved they are. The alpacas aren't as friendly as they are cute, but as long as youve got some feed with you, they'll put up with almost anything! Theyve got a couple of babies so go visit before they get bigger as they are so adorable - especially Sophie. Very affordable and thoroughly enjoyable tour.

Our visit to Emma’s farm was a truly memorable experience! Not only did we get to spend time with the cutest alpacas, but there were also sheep, horses, and llamas! Emma made the entire experience feel personal and special. Emma took the time to guide us through the farm, introducing us to the very friendly animals and sharing interesting facts about them. We got to feed and interact with all the animals. We can’t wait to come back again and highly recommend everyone to visit!
