Nothing can beat the view from Mount John. Day, or night. In the day you can see the whole of Tekapo, 2 lakes and lots of mountains. There is also a cafe called Astro cafe. The food there is pretty good and the coffee has a planet drawn in it. It is really cool. There is also some lavender growing there and it is perfect for photos. At night you get to experience the high tech telescopes and learn a lot about astronomy. This is one of my favourite places to come to in Tekapo and we come here everytime.
