Had such a great day here with the family. We arrived at 1, just missing the 1pm train ride, but it took a good 2 hours to go around the village looking at everything, and then we took the 3pm ride. The train ride was great - our small boys loved it !
There is plenty to do here - lots of heritage buildings and great detail about their histories. When we visited we were the only people in the entire park, so it was quite magical.
I recommend that you allow at least 2-3 hours to check out everything in the village. Cost is very reasonable - I think we paid about $24 for two adults and two kids, including a train ride (two laps of the entire village). They have eftpos and a cafe, so no need to bring...

Schools, prison, butcher, barber, 3 or 4 historic houses, blacksmith, doctor, hospital.... Absolutely incredible! We loved the wee train ride at the beginning and feeding the chickens was a lovely wee treat! They have an amazing cafe on site too, beautifully cooked food, would absolutely recommend grabbing...
