New management refuses to honour previous management's coffee loyalty card. So I went to one of Stratford's other cafés. A hell of a way to encourage loyalty. Honouring previous management's loyalty card must cost at least several cents. Maybe even a buck. But still, I assume there's some sort of principle here that defies business logic. Having read the manager's response I realise that it was all my fault. Thusly I have amended my one-star review to a two star review. I appreciate it when the hospitality industry calls out its client base for things that are very clearly entirely the fault of the customer. I'd have given a three star review - except I wasn't disrespectful to anyone. Also, I went to the one by the Z service station.

Very disappointing a simple scone and corn stack took 45 minutes, got our coffee about 10 minutes after we sat down so would have been cold to have with the meal. A person that ordered a burger and fries about 15 minutes after us got his order before us. The corn stack was very disappointing as well tasted very doughy.

Had the pleasure of trying the eggs Benedict for the first time in my life (shameful I know)🤣....it was absolutely perfect❤️, as was the top service and conversation I received at the front counter, will definitely recommend and be coming back for round two👌😍

What's happened???

After reading these amazing reviews, we decided to try it out.

Sadly, it was a huge disappointment and a waste of money. There's not a lot of love of food coming from that kitchen and it shows in the food.

The food looked great in the cabinet, so I ordered a delicious looking Salmon Roulade. Sadly, it met it's death in the kitchen, before coming to my table. It was served with a couple of slices of orange slapped on the plate and a squirt of TOMATO SAUCE?!?! and you had to pay an extra $5 or $6 for a few lettuce leaves. I believe the salmon roulade had been heated, as the cream cheese was gone and the roll was hard and dry. My first mouthful gave me indigestion.

My friend bought their Angus Burger, which consisted of three sauces, tomato, lettuce and a pattie between two buns and chips. This was $18 and when compared to other similar eateries, it was a ripoff. For the same price anywhere else, you get EVERYTHING thrown in, eg egg, cheese, beetroot, fried onion and bacon etc

This place is beautiful and has so much potential to become "the place to go", if only more love was given to the food they serve. They clearly had it before and I'm sure they can get back up to scratch. Every kitchen needs to be run by "foodies", people who LOVE food and LOVE cooking and preparing food, because if you don't, it really...

I ordered a salad and asked the staff to put it in a take away for me. My disappointment was huge when I got home and see that the salad had NO (ZERO) salad dressing with it and the chicken was dry and completely overcooked 🙈 The most terrible thing about this salad was, that I found a toothpick inside the salad... i guess it's a used one because it was snapped in half and there was another small piece in the salad. I am disappointment in the friendliness of the staff..... not very helpful and definitely NOT the right people for the job. I do NOT recommend anyone to go there.... The place has SO MUCH POTENTIAL but unfortunately at the moment it's a no go for me! I always really try hard to look for SOMETHING good in a place so that I can give a good review, but this place just didn't...
