Three Sisters Lookout — Attraction in Taranaki

One of the most beautiful places in NZ. A must visit place. Access to the three sisters is only possible when its low tide, so please look for that online before planning the visit. The path to the sisters is very muddy, so would suggest some good shoes or even crocs were great in our case. Always remember to get a stick to support yourself as it will get slippery. Went to the Lookout instead of the Rocks due to high tide. The Lookout provides a majestic view of the rocks from the top of the cliff. The car park is small & it’s next to a cemetery. I wonder lot many ppl know this spot & so I had the place all to myself even though I was there during Easter break. Strongly recommended especially when u are not able to land on the beach & had closer look...

Nice spot for best view of the 3 sisters and elephant rock. from here you can see if its high or low tide and then decide whether to go down to the beach to see them closer. And nice view of mount taranaki and great place for photos (if weather allows). Very short walk (less than 5min) to the spot from your car park...
