As others have said: steep walk, awesome views, take walking poles if you have them and wear shoes with good grip. It's not obvious where the walk starts if you drive right to the end of the road at the beach. Go back up the road 60 metres and walk up the road on the left. This could be driven by a car but I wouldn't take a campervan up there as it's got some...

Not very easy 15-20 min walk up the hill. The walk start from the Puheke carpark. Possible to drive up to the top of the hill if your car is suited for off road drive. Great 360 views of the Karikari Peninsula. Recommended visit if you are...

Awesome views from the top, well worth the walk. Just be sure you are prepared for a very rough drive once on the gravel and the walk itself...
