On 23/10/2023, my husband and I went to Waiheke Island. We enjoyed our relaxing stroll on Palm Beach as the weather was extremely great on that day. There were not many people there as it’s a Monday. Therefore, we could enjoy the tranquility and peacefulness of Palm Beach. The water there was so blue and clean that you felt you really wanted to have a swim there. But as it’s winter time at that time, we couldn’t swim there. We took a bus from Kennedy Point Ferry Terminal to Palm Beach. The bus ride was very nice and we enjoyed it so much. We will go to Waiheke Island at Easter and will definitely visit Palm Beach again.

I mean a four star rating is really a bit harsh because this is one of the most beautiful and popular beaches on Waiheke. However if you like Palm Beach, I’d encourage you to walk through/around the rocks on the left to Little Palm. Stunning! Just be aware it’s a nudist beach... anyway back to Pam Beach. It’s white sands, safe waters and beautiful setting really so make it one of the jewels in Waiheke’s crown. Not to mention a big playground for kids, toilets, picnic tables, rubbish bins - it’s well kitted out for you and your family to visit.

Great white sandy beach. Large and spacious and didn't seem busy at all for the absolute size of it. Car parking is available but looks like only has capacity for a few cars. The road to it from the rest of the island is not easy to walk due to some stretches of road having no pavement and steep embankments so I'd recommend driving, cycling or scooting. Otherwise great with little cafe/shop next to it.
