This is a beautiful place to go to that's not so touristy. There's parking up at the top by the toilet or further down if you follow the path. The actual walk to the suspension bridge is mere minutes and is relatively easy. I see how it could get a little slippery though too, so be aware. The photo opportunities with this bridge are great if you have anyone with you who's into Instagram. As it's part of the Waikato Trails, you also have the option of going on a longer walk or ride too from this point. Would recommend it as both a short or longer stop off point.

Great short loop track that crosses the spectacular 1920s suspension bridge (very high with amazing views, could be challenging for those who are afraid of heights) and a lower bridge further downstream. Loop involves some on-road walking, but the road is a very quiet dead-end so no issues with traffic. Should be doable with strollers but there are 2 short sections that are a little rough so could be a bit challenging. Great place to check out with the kids, and you can stop at the cafe in Arapuni for a coffee afterwards.
