Peka Peka Beach — Attraction in Wellington

Another great long and public access beach close to Wellington CBD and Waikanei only 10 min drive South. The CBD is about 45 min drive off peak so reasonably close. Fishing from this beach is great but you will need to walk out to hip level to cast. My usual catch is mullet, snapper, gurnet, plenty of small sharks and Ray's.
