Te Whiti park is a long standing park that has been developed over time. The park backs onto the Wanuiomata hill, with an access track close by. It also has a marae with the remaining part of the marae across the street. The marae side has the Waiwhetu stream to one side, with Willow trees along part of the banks.

Across the field is a football club, and as I recall, a cricketing field too. The playing field is big enough so that two soccer games can be played...

Went there today for Te Ra O Te Raukura, was awesome. We took the car, paid 5 bucks to park. Had security officers👍 and crew to show where to park. Plenty of groups entertaining on stage. Heaps of space for people to relax and enjoy. Plenty of space for stalls for everything. Missed out on the hangi got to there by 9ish. Plenty of other kai to choose from. Reccomend you take sun shade as open space no shelter. Could go on and on, simply loved it. Crowd...

Great shared resource where walkers, runners and cyclists can enjoy nature. People not controlling their dogs and letting them run off the lead is becoming a safety issue for the animals and other track users sometimes.

This is a great local sports ground with plenty of room to run & roam about. Gateway to the Te Whiti Riser-probably the best all purpose fitness trail in the Eastern Hills.

This place is very serene. Love to look at the mountains around. The ground has ample space. The play area for kids is not very big though.
