The University of Benin (UNIBEN) is one of the greatest higher institutes in Nigeria, drawing thousands of ambitious students each year. This school’s extremely prestigious status is, in my opinion, one of the main reasons it is so popular. The institution places a high value on affordability and accessibility, ensuring that everyone has an equal and fair chance to pursue higher education, even those from lower socioeconomic classes. As a graduate of adult and non formal education in University of Benin, thus it was a demanding and fulfilled experience. The fast-paced nature of the program continuously challenges me to reach new heights, cultivating adaptability and resilience that are essential for the nursing profession. In my third year, assuming a leadership role in my department as a group coordinator was invigorating and eye-opening. It not only enhanced my organizational and leadership skills but also broadened my perspective on teamwork and collaboration in management. The institution’s adult education program’s impact on me has been profound, shaping my skills, deepening my commitment to patient care, and instilling a sense of purpose. Great Uniben. Home for learning and character molding. As at 2015, there were 13 or 14 faculties in the University of Benin ranging from Agriculture to Physical Sciences, where you find various departments which offer various courses to be skilled in a particular degree. As at that time too, the school fees was #13,500 for non science courses and #14,500 for science courses. But now , school fees should be at least #50,000 or more depending on your course of Study. The University of Benin is located at Ugbowo, Ovia North East LG, Lagos Benin Express Road, Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria. I hope for improvement in the environment of study for students, it was below standard as at the time I schooled there. In the faculty of Agriculture, Lecture Theatres were unconducive and too few for learning purposes, insufficient seats, bad air conditioning, no public address system. The laboratory had too little equipments and reagents to carry out essential practical in our course of study amounting to students contributing for what should have already been provided by the school administration. I hope for the best in the school administration, likewise Federal Government Universities around the country and the Nation as a whole. God...

Uniben is a college that commands great respect because of the high standard they have always maintained in-respect of the number of professors and academic performance of students compared to other colleges. But big problem in that school is on Exams and Record Department which many has complain bitterly with cry.... When you come to collect your transcript the office workers will ask you for money-bribe and when you refused to sit-down on it and will not progress and they will so much frustrate and you will abandon it or lost the purpose for which you want to use the transcript for. It is so unfortunate that we still have such evil person in such school. After paying about $16,000+ to obtain your transcript they will be demanding huge sum of money to move on with your transcript... it is a shame on the school. Many transcripts are laying down in exams and record not for genuine reason but because some people refused to bribe 'those' office assistance. Authorities should investigate to remove these 'cancan-worms' so that the college will continue to maintain her...
