The Covenant Place is the headquarters of The Covenant Nation (Covenant Christian Centre), a foremost Pentecostal church in Lagos, Nigeria. Founded and led by its Senior Pastor Poju Oyemade, the Covenant Place sits on an expensive landmass near the National Arts Theatre, Iganmu Lagos. The surroundings and access to the church are not exactly attractive, as they are cluttered with much human and vehicular traffic on partially dusty, potholed roads. But once a visitor gets inside the premises of The Covenant Place, it's a different ambience: clean, spacious, tastefully furnished and attractive. The parking lots around the main building are quite spacious too take lots of cars. The restrooms built into the building are well kept, featuring separate male and female toilets. Right inside the main auditorium of the church is an aesthetic, air-conditioned, sprawling space of well arranged seats, raised, decorated podium with overhead floodlights, styled roofing, and diverse inner room sections for different uses of members. Altogether, The Covenant Place is an elegant, inviting church venue people by stylish, youthful and dainty men and women. A visit there for worship or other purposes is a pleasant experience, minus the surroundings and...

The place is really nice, but the the Air conditioning control is messed up. I don't know if it was a one time thing but my brain almost literally froze.

It's a nice place though with a large sitting capacity and cool facilities. It's a really good place for a large event.

The AC had people flocking in and out of the toilet like say tomorrow no dey. (I wouldn't need to explain that the human body, when cold, increases it's metabolic activities to generate heat to keep it warm).

Anyway,

It's not too far from the national theatre, you can actually see it from the church. It's not that hard to find once you get to constain bus stop, walk straight following the direction the bus or keke came from, then turn left into the street where you see a statue that looks like it's hair is braided. This is if you are coming from Ojuelegba. Or just search it on the map.

The people, that's the ushers or wardens, those guys are cool, warm and friendly.

Wait "cool, warm"? Really? Lol, but you guys understand what i'm saying.

It's a really nice place though.

I held my one star because of that AC ๐Ÿ˜’. Carry sweater, blanket and bedspread (and/or duvet as the case may be) if...

Ambience: the main church is well light with good sound systems and effective spaci g to observe the COVID-19 distancing. The kids section too are in order and safe for them. Mini kids toilets are also available at their churches.

Parking: The parking is very wide and the traffic control team are very good at maximizing the space available.

There's a separate parking for bolt/uber...check for the sign.

Also youcan drop the kids at their entrance and drive round into the packing but NOTE tou have to collect a tag to register each child.

Services: First service: 6:30am - 8:00am (estimate) Second service: 8:15am - 10:00am (estimate) Third service: 10:30am - 12:00pm(estimate)

Tip: Every first Tues...

One of the biggest churches on the mainland in Lagos, they hold The Platform an innovative and informative gathering of important and outstanding entrepreneurs and individuals who come together to inform and help proffer possible solutions to Nigeria's socio-economic and political problems. They also organise and put together small play like theatre productions quarterly or monthly I'm not sure. A good place to worship - the Word is powerful if you've ever been listened to their lead Pst. Poju Oyemade preach you will understand that this kingdom matter is not by the 'head' but by obedience, understanding God's word and grace (God's good grace)

Christian place of worship. Beautiful auditorium and strategic non-residential location. Situated right beside the National Theatre, itโ€™s so easy to find. Apart from church services, they also host other social intervention services that attract lots of people - including non-members. It might also be noteworthy that they have quite an impressive amount of space for parking, but when they have major events, the space usually is insufficient. This could also result in traffic jams around closing times due to the huge number of cars trying to get out of the building.
