Toshe Proeski, famous Macedonian pop singer, actor and song-writer, was born at January 25th, 1981 in Prilep (Macedonia) as a son of Dominika and Nikola Proeski. Toshe spent most of the childhood in Krusevo, his hometown. He was popular across the entire Balkan area and further north, and locally he was considered a top act of the Macedonian music scene. Proeski was known for his trademark quote "Ve sakam site" (I Love You All), and was called "Elvis Presley of the Balkans" by BBC News. In 2004 Proeski was named a "UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador", and recorded the song "This World" which became the UNICEF anthem. He died in a car crash in Croatia on October 16, 2007. The museum is modern, well-organized, and full of personal items, photos, and videos that show his life and career. Even as a visitor with no prior knowledge, it was easy to connect with his story and understand why he’s so beloved.
Entrance fee was 150 Denars which can be paid in cash or card. It was a nice and different experience and definitely worth a visit...
