I was here on a public holiday Monday in the end of august and it was extremely crowded, very noisy, hot, and dust everywhere. The boat ride was at full capacity and for one hour, including a visit to the caves cost 500Din, about €8. There are a few nice photo opportunities. I would say that if you plan on coming here, avoid weekends and public holidays at all costs. The surrounding resturants are vastly overpriced with small portions and bizarrely close their doors for food at 4pm. There are no grocery shops anywhere so you're in for a long hungry night if you decide to stay in the area bring your own food. If you decide to visit by bus, be careful as the buses that return to Skopje are very irregular and unpredictable regardless of any timetables you might see online. I'd advise you bring cash because card transactions aren't accepted anywhere.
