Langfossen is ranked top 20 in the world's most beautiful waterfalls. The waterfall starts at 600 meters above sea level and goes all the way down to around 50. You can drive all the way to the bottom of the waterfall where you can buy food and some drinks. If you have decided to climb the mountain you shouldn't bring too heavy of a backpack as its very steep all the way. If you are going to the viewpoint its important that you go all the way back to the original path because if you don't, you might get lost. When you get to the top of the waterfall you will see that there are a few mountains surrounding it, which you will have to climb in order to gain mobile connection. Overall the view from the top is very beautiful, I would also not recommend bringing any children under the age of 12 unless you are willing to carry them throughout most of the trip. The trip should take 2-4 hours one way, depending if you are carrying heavy...

A very beautiful hike and magnificient waterfall. But never go on a hike on a rainy day!! We made it up halfway to the top (there is a very nice viewpoint at the half of the tour) and decided to go back. On the way down we realized that there was much more water flowing on and besides the road, which is dangerous for such a steep hiking route. One of the tiny waterfalls that you could walk over turned into a big one and we had to walk and climb through it for 2 minutes on a stony path without really seeing where we put our feet. We couldn‘t have made it if we didn‘t hold each others hand the whole time and being extremly careful. You can see in the picture what part of the...

Langfossen is truly one of Norway’s most breathtaking natural wonders. The sheer power and beauty of the cascading waterfall are mesmerizing. The way it tumbles down the mountainside, surrounded by lush greenery, creates a spectacular scene that feels almost unreal.

The viewpoint along the road offers an incredible photo opportunity, and if you have time, stopping for a closer look is well worth it. The sound of the rushing water, the fresh mountain air, and the stunning scenery all around make this a perfect stop on any road trip in western Norway.

A must-see for nature lovers — Langfossen captures the raw beauty of Norway...
