Molde Panorama — Attraction in Molde

A very steep walk up, took us over two hours to get all the way up with plenty of stops (wife recovering from a broken ankle still). I would suggest most abilities can do the walk so long as you break it up into plenty of stops and take advantage of the seats.

Having said all that the views fro the top are incredible and were worth the effort. If you have time do try the walk.

We came here as part of a curse and they wanted something like £120 to drive you up (also included a museum and cathedral stop). We also went to the cathedral (free) and the museum certainly wasn't £120 so you could easily do all the tour for a lot less money but a lot...

It requires a good hour or so, relatively steep hike to get to the top, but the views reward those who make it up there. The hike is through a forested area, with several areas that are suitable to pause, rest and enjoy (partial) views. A major criticism is that the facilities at the top, both eating and restrooms, have very limited hours. I do not understand why that lock the outdoor restrooms during day hours. Mijn recente bezoek aan Molde Panorama heeft me met verbazing geslagen door de prachtige uitzichten en natuurlijke schoonheid die deze plek te bieden heeft.

Molde Panorama dankt zijn naam aan de panoramische uitzichten over de omliggende fjorden, bergen en de stad Molde zelf. Het uitzicht vanaf hier is ronduit adembenemend en het is een paradijs voor fotografen. Ik kon niet weerstaan aan het maken van talloze foto's van de steeds veranderende landschappen.

Het uitkijkpunt is gemakkelijk bereikbaar met de auto en er is voldoende parkeergelegenheid beschikbaar. Eenmaal aangekomen, kun je een ontspannen wandeling maken over de goed onderhouden paden naar verschillende uitkijkpunten, elk met een iets andere kijk op het landschap. Het is een ideale plek voor zowel toeristen als de lokale bevolking om in contact te komen met de natuur en de schoonheid van de regio te waarderen.
