I had the pleasure of stopping here twice in the last few days. The first was an impromptu, late lunch. Then I stopped back in hopes of trying their 'pulled smoked salmon' sandwich. Here is why you should stop in: Tasty food, prepared fresh for you; Great value; Friendly, helpful staff; prompt, professional service; cool place to walk around and take pictures; great shop of local stuff - chocolates, Lofoten Seaweed Salt, smoked whale meat, dried cod and stockfish, and many other cool things to check out. They have nice, bright, clean bathrooms too! I am on this long road trip, sort of bee-bopping down Lofoten. As I drove along, a little after the lunch hour, I saw this place that is so convenient. They are literally right off the main road. Just turn in to the parking lot and park for free! Of course, I stopped, and I am glad I did. I took one look at that menu and saw that pulled smoked salmon sandwich. I was in the Southern US just a few weeks ago eating pulled pork sandwiches and BBQ, so, of course, I had to try their Pulled Salmon. It must be really, damm good, because they were out of that particular menu item. The pulled salmon is a warm smoked salmon, which is different than the cold smoked salmon. They had plenty of the regular, cold smoked salmon. Times being what they are, I did not let 'out of stock' get me down. Instead, I ordered the Fish Soup, and I am glad I did. That fish soup came out hot and tasty with big chunks of cod (Torsk) and salmon in a creamy broth. They serve it with a fresh baguet and butter. That soup is the star of the show though. The fish was super tasty. It was not so fishy as to offend my 'American' taste buds. The broth was rich and satisfying. I had my doubts about that dried cod, so I asked a lady who was working behind the counter about it. She took the time to come out and show me around and explain the different items and tastes and that sort of thing, which I really appreciated. Service is still service, and they did a great job of it, with a smile. I got a package of that dried cod snack and some smoked whale meat. A few days later, I went back in hopes of trying that pulled smoked salmon. They were still out. Sad face! I ordered The cold smoked salmon sandwich and got my happy face back. They served it up quick along with a Midnight Sun tea and a big, chocolate chip cookie for desert. That salmon sandwich was crammed full of sliced, smoked salmon and crunchy, fresh greens. It had a bit of dressing on it, but not so much that it took over the sandwich, if you know what I mean. It was well balanced. I appreciated that they had that sandwich in a little piece of wax paper, so I could really dig in, without worrying about getting dressing and smoked salmon all over my hands. This is a delightful place. If you are driving down E10, you will drive right by it. Stop in and check it out for a meal, just a look around, or shopping for authentic stuff of Norway. This might be the best, overall place to stop and eat between Leknes and Å.

I loved this place! We arrived one rainy afternoon (not a surprise in Lofoten) in October after we noticed that the most restaurants in Lofoten were not open due to the low season, and just before they closed, hoping to still get a good taste of Lofoten fish…and they welcomed us warmly and would extend their opening time for us a bit longer. We tried 3 variation of fish burgers with different combinations of salmon, fish cake and shrimps(see the pics) and the fish soup. All are delicious and perfect for a cold windy rainy day😃 the interior is interesting with all possible fish and fishing hut elements. Also very cozy. The view outside is also wonderful… we also bought some fish snacks from their famous stock fish and I have been eating them on our roadtrip after that! So recommend this place really and I think in summer one would have more choices so don’t miss it!

Yummy Cod fish burger where you can order the classic or with additional smoke salmon and shrimp. So lovely...fish fillet with a bunch of salad greens, smoked salmon, small prawns and aioli sauce, sandwiched between two hot crispy buns. No wonder everyone who visits Lofoten eats here. Another unusual food we tried here is the Seagull's egg. Eventhough the whites of the egg looks kind of transparent, the taste is just like the usual duck egg. The giant chocolate chips cookie is also very good. There are big chunks of chocolates (like chocolate coins) but the cookie itself is not extremely sweet. . Fish burger : 4.5/5 Seagull's egg : 3.5/5 Chocolate chip cookies : 4.5/5 Service : 4/5 Price : $$ Place : 4/5 . Non Halal Rest : Anita's Sjomat Location : Sakrisoya. Reine Country : Norway .

Best fish soup in the area, they really do not cheap out on the ingredients, there's a plenty of cod and salmon in there. 10/10 The burgers are pretty solid too, nothing amazing but a pleasant 8/10. The raw fish you can buy there is really fresh and delicious. The halibut was 10/10. Cool Lofoten souvenirs and merch in the shop, especially posters and postcards. The only two things I would improve is refridgerators for the fish in the shop, I got an overfermented gravad lax and had to drive 20km back to return it. Also there are no prices on most items in the shop, you have to actually go to the counter and ask how much they are. Overall really nice mix of fish shop, souvenir shop and a bar, make sure to go there before leaving the Lofoten.

If I could have an Anita's fish burger every week, I'd be in heaven. This fantastic restaurant/food shop is THE place to go in southern Lofoten. You order at the counter and can eat in the spacious dining area, on the large deck, or take out. The food shop has local foods, torrfisk, whale, reindeer, moose, sea salts, jams, seaweed chocolates, the list goes on. The menu is small but what they have is delicious. The fish burger with the salmon is a must. And the dining room has the best character with 2 dried fish (torrfisk) chandeliers! Wine and beer also available and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Very convenient to Hamnoy, Reine, A, or any of the southern islands.

This restaurant in the Reine area is an absolute must-visit for both locals and tourists. The view is simply breathtaking, offering a stunning panorama of the surrounding fjords and mountains. The fish soup, a standout on the menu, is rich, flavorful, and made with incredibly fresh ingredients that truly capture the essence of the local cuisine. The restaurant has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Outside, there's a small playground, making it a great stop for families with kids. Overall, the combination of amazing views, excellent food, and family-friendly amenities makes this place highly recommended!
