The "Seven Sisters" are among the most photographed waterfalls in Geirangerfjorden. They are close to Knivsflå, the abandoned farm. No less than seven waterfalls descend into the fjord. They have an average fall of around 250 meters and are an impressive sight when the water levels are high. The water level is dependent on the snow thaw and precipitation and may affect whether it is possible to see all seven falls equally clearly. The falls are naturally more visible during the major snow melting period in May-July and can be best observed by taking a boat trip on Geirangerfjord. The legend has it that the "Seven Sisters" were all unmarried, and the waterfall on the other side of the fjord has been called "The Suitor" after several unsuccessful attempts to court the sisters.  If you want to see all the sisters and their suitor it is probably better to go when there is the greatest flow of water, such as when there is snowmelt in spring. This is one place you should stop when going from Gangtok to Lachung. You break journey to enjoy the waterfall. The best part is the gusty winds push the water spray to the spot where you stand. The water fall by itself is beautiful, captivating and very, very chill. It is a very calm serene place. It is situated in North Sikkim on the way to Lachung from Gangtok. Very natural waterfall. Its called seven sisters waterfalls, because it falls in seven steps. Very natural eye catching sight. Ensure you stay long to enjoy the beauty of Sikkim. Cleanest state of India - Sikkim. This water wall is one of the very famous waterfalls of Sikkim and you just can don't miss it. Seven sister fall is wonderfull place for tourist.nature wonder and beautifull.good to take some photo with...

Geiranger is deservedly a UNESCO world heritage site. We took the 3 hr Panorama tour bus and money well spent. Things to know: -bring snacks and something to drink as nothing is available during the bus tour; at the bathroom breaks go quickly to the BR as there are only two stalls for ladies; if you go during the late fall (end of Sept-begin of October) be prepared with layers as it can be warm in the valley and wintery in the mountain.

Beautiful...
